Location

The UESI Pipelines 2025 Conference is going to Tampa, Florida!

Tampa is known as the "Sunshine City" because it holds the Guinness World Record for the most consecutive days of sunshine.

History

The name Tampa comes from the Calusa Native American tribe's language and means "sticks of fire". The historic Ybor City neighborhood was founded in 1886 by cigar manufacturers and became known as the "cigar capital of the world" by 1900.

Attractions

Tampa is home to Busch Gardens, Florida's second largest tourist attraction and a famous African-themed amusement park. It also has the world's longest pedestrian walkway, Bayshore Boulevard, and the Henry B. Plant Museum, which features Moorish architecture, tropical gardens, and opulent furnishings.
